for underprivileged children in Sudbury. So the money stays in the Sudbury area
and goes towards several projects including helping people travel to Toronto by
accessible vehicles and other projects.... it’s just a great cause,....it’s a
great feeling for me to do this "

On behalf of Brian and the tournament committee I am very excited to welcome your team back to the 10th annual Brian Savage Charity Golf Classic. The tournament will be held on Thursday June 22, 2006 at the Idelwylde Golf and Country Club. Once again it will be a 38 team, 4 man, best ball scramble. The shotgun start is set for 11:00 a.m. An awards dinner and auction will take place at 6 p.m. following the golf day, with our very own Dan McCourt (the Mayor of Skead) presiding. We have some very exciting prizes and auction items to tempt you this year.
Food and beverages will be available on the course at several strategic holes, of course free of charge.
Again, due to the fact that only the first 38 teams are allowed entry into the tournament, it is very important that if you wish to participate in this years event that you return the enclosed entry form and a cheque for $1,000 as soon as possible.
In fairness to all teams who have participated in the tournament over the years, the 38 teams will be selected on a first come first served basis. In the event several teams have their cheques in at the same time; a lottery system will be utilized to determine which teams are allowed entry into the tournament. You’ll want to get your registration in early; television advertising of the event begins the week of April 24th.
Once your team has been successfully registered all you need to do is show up June 16, 2005 and enjoy!
